Why?
Organized youth sports are more than just a game. They encourage physical activity, build confidence and teach discipline. They provide our children with a stronger sense of community and foster the development of leadership and social skills. Organized sports provide a platform that allows children to develop and hone their craft, one that can open doors to future educational and career opportunities. Unfortunately, there are many talented children who will not reap these benefits because the cost to play goes beyond hard work and determination.
Mission
To level the playing field in organized youth sports, by removing barriers created by financial hardships.
Vision
A world where team acceptance is based on skills and determination, not finances.
Sport Support is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. All donations whether in the form of cash, goods or services are tax deductible.
85% of all donated funds goes toward helping young athletes, while 15% goes toward administrative costs. (CharityWatch considers a charity to be highly efficient when program spending is 75 percent or higher.)
